Serbian teenage tennis star, Ana Ivanovic, debuted her new adidas on-court outfit for Australian Open 2007 on a floating catwalk in Melbourne yesterday.
One of the most promising female players on the Sony Ericsson WTA Tour, Ivanovic’s performances have already seen her awarded the WTA’s most improved player for 2006 and finish last year at No.16 in the world.
“I love fashion but when I'm on court, fit and comfort are the most important. With adilibria I get both so I'm really happy," Ivanovic said.
Ivanovic was actively involved in the design of the adilibria tennis collection. She met with the adidas design team several times, providing input and feedback on a range of preliminary concept drawings.
She has also provided feedback on colours and silhouettes for future seasons.
